I have a binder full of ideas and this is one i pulled out a while ago when we were making our marbled valentine hearts with shaving cream the kids had a blast the first time we did it and i wanted to make the cover for our kids art and activities binder for this school year. The process is fascinating and really easy. This marbled paper craft is one i learned was when i was taking my art education class back in college. Today i ll show you how to make marbled paper with shaving cream and liquid watercolours.

Remove to a work surface. Then take 3 4 colors of acrylic paint and put drops all over. Start by spraying shaving cream all over a cookie sheet. You simply press a piece of paper into shaving cream swirled with liquid watercolours and the colours and patterns are transferred to the paper making it look marbleized.

Add drops of food coloring on top. 2 use the back of a squeegee or you can use a ruler to spread the shaving cream out to a nice even layer. Use a craft stick to gently swirl the food coloring into the shaving cream. Take a straw and make swirl designs making sure theres still white showing.

Place a piece of paper on top of the shaving cream and press it down so all of it touches.
